California Blues
CALIFORNIA BLUES was created by brothers Manuel, Ramiro, and Alfredo Rayo, who in the summer of 1990 decided to form the band and started playing some songs from the urban rock groups popular at the time, posteriorly incorporating themes written by Alfredo Rayo.
After a short time, Carlos Segura and Antonio Santillan join the band.
And thus, with this lineup and the name of Carma Blues they start to make a name for themselves in places like Cuauhtepec.
Ramiro Rayo then decided to leave the group and try his luck in the USA, as well as Antonio Santillan. In his place remains Oscar Labra, and with that lineup the band recorded a demo in the year 2000. Oscar then left the group, and Jose Guadalupe Valentinez takes his place.
In 2002, the band meets Alberto Pimentel (Leprosy singer) who decides to help the band, and in the same year, they sign with Discos Y Cintas Denver, with the name of California Blues, and taping in August their first album: A Traves de la Ventana; in which Ernesto Guerrero plays lead guitar.
From that moment, they start playing in mass events in Mexico City and in the Mexican State, getting great support from the rockers listening to them.
